The West Wing of Kilham House offers real privacy, with its own gravelled drive and substantial parking area. The West Wing has been beautifully refurbished with warm Farrow and Ball colours, and is furnished to a high standard together with a selection of antiques and a fabulous array of pictures.

With its lofty position there is no room that is without a spectacular view of the National park or rolling farmland. The West Wing has an incredible feeling of space and light with its’ gigantic picture-window into the 400 square mile National Park. The second floor has two double bedrooms, a bespoke new kitchen, bathroom and new shower-room, and a well appointed sitting-room with wood-burning stove, books, games, media and stunning view.

For larger parties than four (additional cost), the first floor has two very large double bedrooms (one of these also has a double sofa bed in addition to a super-king double bed), and two further bathrooms. All beds are of super-king size and are made-up with luxurious White Company linen, along with a plentiful supply of towels.

In the large walled garden, there is garden furniture on the terrace to eat out for eight, and a charcoal barbecue.

The West Wing is an ideal bolt-hole for anyone wanting to ‘get away from it all' without being far from pubs, restaurants and local shops. Northumberland is officially England's quietist county and with very little traffic and noise pollution is the perfect place to unwind, relax, enjoy the countryside (be it on two legs, four legs or two wheels) and even indulge in some star gazing - the area's unpolluted sky puts on England's best star shows.
